Under circumstances investigated by the authorities, part of the roof of a well-known department store in the city of Paphos collapsed a while ago, resulting in the slight, fortunately, injury of three people who were inside the department store at the time.
Teams of the Fire Brigade, the Police and the Department of Labour Inspection rushed to the spot, starting investigations and examinations into the serious incident.
It is not yet known whether the collapse of part of the roof is related to work currently being carried out on parts of the building, nor whether the injured are employees or customers.
Investigations are ongoing.
