HERMES AIRPORTS LTD has submitted an application to obtain planning consent for the implementation of the extension of Pafos International Airport within the demarcated areas for Airport development purposes.
In the context of securing the planning consent, HERMES AIRPORTS LTD. assigned to LA SOLAS SERVICES Ltd the preparation of an Environmental Impact Assessment Study for the expansion of Pafos International Airport.
In order to provide the interested public with the opportunity to submit any comments and proposals related to the impact of the project on the environment from its construction and operation, the draft Environmental Impact Assessment Study prepared by the design office LA SOLAS SERVICES Ltd is published.
According to article 26(7) of Law 127(I)/2018, "Before submitting a Study, the developer is obliged to proceed to a public consultation and at least a public presentation before finalizing its content, with the aim of giving the opportunity to the local authority concerned and the public to submit comments and proposals on the impact of the project on the environment". The public presentation will take place on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at the Conference Hall of the Municipal District of Timi at 6:00 pm.
