The Limassol OPE responded early Saturday to a call regarding a racist attack against a food distributor in Limassol and causing actual bodily harm.
The information given around 2:20 in the morning, stated that a 22-year-old foreigner, while riding a moped in an area of Limassol for food distribution, was attacked by young people, as a result of which he fell to the ground, they immediately went to the area for examinations.
At the scene they located a 15-year-old who was allegedly involved in the said incident and after being arrested on a court warrant, he was taken into custody to facilitate interrogations.
The ICF Limassol is investigating the case.

The Larnaca District Court issued today a six-day detention order to a 43-year-old man who was arrested for facilitating interrogations in connection with an ongoing case of obtaining goods by false representations.
The arrest of the 43-year-old was preceded by a complaint to the Police, by a resident of Nicosia, that between the months of April – May, 2024, he paid the suspect on six separate occasions, the total amount of €43,000, for the purchase of two vehicles, which he did not hand over to him.
The 43-year-old, a resident of Larnaca, was located and arrested yesterday on a court arrest warrant. Aradippou Police Station continues the examinations.
