The Central Bank of Cyprus in its announcement today urges the public to be particularly careful in their transactions, due to the circulation of counterfeit $100 notes.
"The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that it has become aware of counterfeit USD 100 banknotes on the market and urges the public/traders to exercise extreme caution when trading," the regulator said in a statement this morning.
