Alarming are the data obtained by pafoslive on the use of vehicles by underage drivers in the district of Pafos. Only in the first ten months of the year was a double-digit number of minors who had taken the wheel without a license and without holding the necessary safety certificates identified and reported.
According to data from the Pafos traffic police, from the first of the year four minors, along with yesterday, were involved in road collisions, fortunately without serious injuries. In another eight cases, underage drivers were found driving vehicles of their parents or grandparents.
The pleasing thing is that the use of powered two-wheelers without a licence is showing a slight decline, but the use of cars by inexperienced drivers should be a concern for everyone.
