A yellow warning for thunderstorms was issued for today by the Department of Meteorology.
Isolated severe storms are expected to affect mainly the mountains, interior and south. In a thunderstorm it is likely to fall into hail.
The warning will be in effect from 12 noon until 6:00 pm.
