Two major projects that will stimulate the commerciality of the central core of Geroskipou and that will give traffic breath to the coastal area are promoted by the municipality of East Pafos.
The municipality has already launched a tender for the provision of engineering services and a civil engineering supervisor for the monitoring and supervision of construction works in these two projects. The "Regeneration – Revitalization of the Traditional Core of Geroskipou" is implemented as an Urban Project with a contract worth € 2.8 million, while the additional infrastructure in the coastal area of Geroskipou, ie the parking area, is a co-financed project of the Cohesion Policy Program "THALIA 2021-2027" with a budget of € 840,000.
The duration of execution of the Contract is Sixteen months, for 30 hours per week. The municipality is entitled under the same conditions to extend the provision of services for an additional six months. The selected engineer will perform the duties of Project Engineer – Project Supervisor to monitor and supervise the construction works of the two Projects.
