EOA Paphos calls for the removal of illegal signs ahead of the MED 9 Leaders' Summit
The matter of cleaning the road axis from the illegal signs from the Paphos airport to the Resort (Minthis hotel) in Tsada where the Summit of the leaders of the MED 9 will be held on October 11, 2024 is promoted by the Paphos District Self-Government Organization, according to the President of EOA Paphos Charalambos Pittokopitis.
In his statements to the KYPE, Mr. Pittokopitis stated that in the context of today's meeting of the EOA Paphos, the issue of illegal signs was discussed and called on their owners to move them immediately because otherwise they will be moved by crews from the Municipalities, Communities and the EOA and the owners will bear the cost of the move.
The route, he said, starts from Paphos airport, Timi, Achelia, Geroskipou, Konia, Armou, Marathousta, Episkopi and up to Tsada where the Resort is located. It is noted that the group of 9 Mediterranean member states of the European Union (MED9) is chaired by Cyprus (Cyprus, Greece, France, Italy, Malta, Slovenia, Croatia, Spain, Portugal).
