The first Enok AB vehicle, as a carrier of Spike LR2 anti-tank missile launcher, for the relevant order of Cyprus has been completed and is already being tested.
The Enok AB is a retrofit of the well-known Mercedes G-Wagen, made by the German company ACS (Armoured Car Systems), which has the launcher on the roof with an access hatch.
It has space to store additional missiles, as well as for the firing steering.
There is also a tripod in the vehicle, so if a breakdown occurs, the launcher can be used by an infantry team.
Cyprus has placed an order since last year with the EuroSpike consortium for 60 vehicles.
This procurement will significantly strengthen the National Guard, offering it a high-mobility system with an effective anti-tank missile, with a range of 10 kilometers.
