In July, the 6,000 applications budgeted for the first phase of Category A3 "Photovoltaics for All" were completed, under the "Subsidy Scheme to encourage the use of Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Saving in Homes 2024-25", with the Ministry of Energy expressing satisfaction with the response of citizens.
According to an announcement, the competent fund has already completed the examination and has sent answers to more than 5,000 applicants.
Also, the pre-approval has been given to about 4,000 electricity consumers, who have 10 months and can now proceed with offers from installers in the list of "Participating Traders" and, subsequently, with the installation of photovoltaic systems in their homes.
The Ministry, which will soon proceed with the announcement of the second phase of the new "Photovoltaics for All" Category, expects that the operation of photovoltaic systems in the network, which will come from this Category, will increase significantly in the next period with the response of the market to increased demand, resulting in the consequent reduction of the total installation time.
