The Police announces a week of information and policing with intensified traffic checks, with emphasis on carrying out speed limit checks to prevent serious and fatal road collisions.
The intensified checks start tomorrow Monday 05/08/2024 and will last until Sunday 11/08/2024, while at the same time they will be carried out at a pan-European level, in the framework of the cooperation of the Cyprus Police with the European Traffic Police Network #ROADPOL.
Speeding is one of the main causes of serious and fatal road collisions.
