Decisive as far as the investigative work in the case of the homicide of a 3.5-month-old infant in Lakatamia is concerned, is the evaluation of his 21-year-old mother by a government psychiatrist.

According to information received yesterday by "F", the Nicosia Crime Detection Department (ICF) has reportedly carried out the necessary procedures and will await the settlement of the evaluation by the specialist of the Mental Health Services, as well as the relevant report.

In each homicide case, this procedure is carried out to assess the situation of the persons involved. In this case, however, it is of particular importance. The ICF Nicosia considers the 21-year-old mother of the angel who lived through hell for 3.5 months to be suspected of homicide. The same goes for the 23-year-old father who is originally from Pakistan.

Consequently, one understands that if the psychiatric evaluation shows that the 21-year-old mother had mental clarity and allowed the child to reach such a state, the case takes on other dimensions.
