Hostilities in the Middle East led Celestyal to cancel certain cruises.
Celestyal has announced the cancellation of its upcoming 14-night repositioning cruises: "From historic Athens to Doha of glamour" and the corresponding trip "From Doha of glamour, to historic Athens". The cruises were scheduled to depart on October 26, 2024 and March 8, 2025, respectively, aboard the ship Celestyal Journey.
This decision follows the recent escalation of political unrest on the original crossing route through the Red Sea. To maintain its commitment to the annual program and ensure the success of Celestyal's first season in the Arabian Gulf, the Celestyal Journey will conduct a 34-night passengerless travel cruise to and from Doha, Qatar.
