€1.2 million AT THE DISPOSAL OF CYPRIOT START UPS

As part of the effort to strengthen start-up and innovative entrepreneurship in Cyprus, the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) announced the new call for the PRE-SEED program, with a total budget of €1.2 million.

The PRE-SEED program aims to accelerate the development of a startup and the funding covers, among others, the first steps of operation, staff recruitment, prototype development, business plan preparation, as well as marketing and branding activities.

The submission of proposals is done through the IRIS platform and the deadline is 1 November 2024.

It is worth noting that the entities selected for funding will automatically be able to take advantage of the free innovation support services and knowledge transfer tools offered by RIF. The calls are co-financed by the Republic of Cyprus and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), under the Cohesion Policy Programme "THALEIA 2021-2027".
