YELLOW WEATHER WARNING AGAIN TODAY

High temperatures persist.

The Yellow Warning comes into effect today at 11am and will last until 4pm, with the mercury reaching 40 degrees Celsius.

Detailed weather report:

Seasonal low pressure and hot air mass affect the area.

Today the weather will be mostly clear but at times there will be increased clouds, mainly in the mountains. The winds will blow southwest to northwest, initially weak to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort and in the afternoon windward, moderate to strong 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a bit turbulent but in the afternoon in the west and south it will be turbulent. The temperature will rise to 40 degrees in the interior, 33 degrees on the west coast, around 36 degrees on the rest of the coasts and 32 degrees in the higher mountains.

In the evening the weather will be mostly clear but temporarily on the coast there will be increased low clouds. The winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, weak 3 but initially on the coast, up to moderate 4 Beaufort. The sea will gradually become calm until a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to around 26 degrees in the interior and coasts and to 21 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the weather will initially be mostly clear but in the afternoon hours there will be increased clouds, which are likely to give isolated rains, mainly in the mountains.

The temperature will fluctuate at the same levels, which are above the climatic averages.
