The Police inform the public that they have received a number of reports of misleading e-mails, which mention the name of the Commissioner for Legislation Louisa Christodoulidou Zannetou and invite them to click on an attached file.
The Cybercrime Sub-Directorate recommends special attention to the public regarding such messages as they are malicious and misleading messages.
The public is urged to be very careful not to open the attached files and also to be informed about these scams through the UNHCR website www.cyberalert.cy
