YELLOW WEATHER WARNING IN EFFECT

 Weak low pressure affects the area. Dilute dust will be observed in the atmosphere from time to time.

It is recalled that yesterday the Department of Meteorology issued a new yellow warning for high temperatures.

The warning is in effect from 21:00 on Friday night until 15:00 on Saturday.

Today, the weather will be mostly clear, but at times there will be locally increased clouds, which in the afternoon and early afternoon may give isolated rains, mainly in the mountains and the interior. The winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, mild to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and locally in the afternoon windward, moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a bit turbulent. The temperature will rise to 40 degrees in the interior, 34 degrees on the west coast, around 36 degrees on the rest of the coasts and 30 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear, although locally there will be increased low clouds. Locally, sparse fog or fog may form mainly during the dawn hours. The winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, weak and transient locally to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to 25 degrees in the interior, around 26 on the south and east coasts, around 23 on the west and north coasts and 18 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Sunday and Monday, the weather will be mostly clear, but at noon and early afternoon there will be locally increased clouds, which are expected to give isolated showers or thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains and the interior. On Tuesday, the weather will be mostly clear.

The temperature on Sunday will fall, to fluctuate slightly above the average climatic values, while on Monday and Tuesday, it will gradually rise.
