YELLOW WEATHER WARNING FOR THE WEEKEND

A new yellow warning was issued for Saturday by the Meteorological Service. Specifically, the maximum temperature inside is expected to rise tomorrow around 41 degrees Celsius. The warning will be in effect from 13:00 noon until 17:30 on Saturday afternoon.

Hot air mass affects the area.

Today the weather will be mostly clear. Dilute dust will be suspended in the atmosphere from time to time. The winds will blow southwest to northwest, initially weak to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort, becoming moderate to strong by the afternoon, 4 to 5 Beaufort and transiently in the south to very strong, 6 Beaufort. The sea will be a little turbulent but gradually in the windward it will become turbulent. The temperature will rise to 41 degrees in the interior, around 39 on the south and east coasts, 36 on the north coast, 34 on the west coast and 33 degrees in the higher mountains.

In the evening the weather will be mostly clear but temporarily in the west there will be increased low clouds. The winds will blow mainly northwest, weak to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be a little turbulent but in the west it will remain turbulent. The temperature will drop to 21 degrees in the interior, around 23 degrees on the coast and 18 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Sunday, the weather will be mostly clear.

On Monday and Tuesday the weather will be mostly clear but in the afternoon hours there will be increased clouds, which on Monday are likely to give isolated rain, mainly in the mountains.

The temperature will gradually drop until Monday and remain at the same levels on Tuesday, which are above climate averages.
