A yellow warning for severe thunderstorms has been issued for today by the Meteorological Service. The new yellow warning comes into effect from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm on Sunday.
According to the service, hail may also fall in a thunderstorm, while winds are likely to change and strengthen.
The severe weather phenomena are expected to affect the mountains and the interior of the island.
