PAPHOS - GRIVA DIGENIS TRAFFIC DISRUPTION - 3 MONTHS FROM 12 JUNE

The Municipality of Pafos announces that as of Wednesday 12 June, construction works will begin in the framework of the Municipality's project "Creation of the Historical Documentation Centre of the City of Pafos and landscaping of the surrounding area". The works concern the maintenance and restoration of the building of the old Central Police Station. Part of the ascending lane of Georgiou Griva-Digeni Avenue will be affected by the works, from traffic lights in Kennedy Square to its junction with Grigoris Afxentiou Street.

Specifically, for a period of three months and until mid-September 2024, maintenance and restoration works will be carried out in this building. Vehicles that need to move from Gladstonos Street to G. Griva – Digeni Avenue will be directed through Evagoras Pallikaridis, Charalambou Mouskou and Grigoris Afxentiou streets to their destination. Vehicles moving from Evagoras Pallikaridis Avenue to G. Griva – Digeni Avenue will be directed through Ioannis Agroti Street and then through 25th Martiou Street will end up at their destination. For vehicles moving from Grigori Afxentiou Street, the right turn to G. Griva Digeni Avenue will normally be allowed.
