In the context of the Police's efforts to return third-country nationals residing illegally in Cyprus to their countries of origin, more than 200 persons have been repatriated/deported from the territory of the Republic of Cyprus in the last week.
From last Saturday 22/06/2024 until yesterday 28/06/2027, 201 migrants who were staying illegally in the territory of the Republic of Cyprus have been repatriated through voluntary and forced return procedures.
Specifically, 139 illegally staying foreigners departed through the voluntary return procedure and 62 through the forced return procedure.
The Police continues to focus its efforts on maximizing the number of repatriations of third-country nationals, in coordination with other competent Services.
