Within the framework of the Pafos Afrodite Festival 2024, Giuseppe Verdi's Opera "La Traviata", one of the most important operas of the classical repertoire, will be presented at the square of the Pafos Medieval Castle on 6 & 7 September 2024, according to an announcement by the Municipality of Pafos.
Contributors to this great performance are the Tbilisi State Opera, a company from the Tbilisi State Ballet and the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra.
A multitude of world-renowned artists will join the choir, orchestra and ballet company. The conductor of the opera is Zaza Azmaiparashvili (Georgia), also Director Laurent Gerber (Switzerland / Italy).
The other contributors are set designer Massimo Bellando Randone (Italy), costume designer Ester Martin (Spain) and choreographer Nina Ananiashvili (Georgia). Another first Choir Director is Avtandil Chkhenkeli (Georgia). Choir director: Shalva Shaorshadze (Georgia).
