ETAP PAPHOS - SMART APPLICATION FOR PRESENTING AND HIGHLIGHTING THE MYTH OF APHRODITE
The Tourism Development and Promotion Company of the Paphos Region continues the implementation and actions to upgrade the digital presence of the destination.
An important innovation today is the presentation and official launch of Exxpni application highlighting the Myth of Aphrodite. This application covers all 7 points related to the myth, and includes technological innovations of augmented reality in 4 points of interest (Petra tou Romiou birthplace of Thea, in Palaipafos, in the sacred Gardens in Geroskipou, and in the Baths of Aphrodite). With the possibility provided by augmented technology reality the user can enjoy scenes from the life of the goddess in the 4 above points through his smart device in a real environment.
It can for example watch the goddess being churned by the waves at Petra tou Romiou, the processions and the events that take place in the Sacred Gardens and in Palaipafos, in its Baths Aphrodite bathing with her lover Adonis.
At the same time, the application offers the user the option of choosing a language (available 5 languages, Greek, English, French, German, Russian) audio tour, 360 tour, rich video material etc. Also the user with the photo option can be photographed (selfie) with the goddess.
The information is complete about the goddess and the Myth and enables anyone interested in exploring Thea and the lesser-known aspects of her life. The information includes information about its relationship with Paphos, names and surnames her, her character, plants and shells associated with her, even her paths through nature.
