Workshop on energy saving with emphasis on the energy upgrade of commercial buildings and hotels with the arrival in Cyprus of 8 German companies from the energy saving sector.
A business mission to Cyprus with the participation of eight German companies from the Energy sector is taking place from 1 to 4 July in Cyprus as an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK). The mission is organized by the Greek-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB).
The eight German companies, which specialize in solutions and systems for energy saving and energy efficiency of buildings, will participate in B2B contacts with Cypriot companies, as well as with institutions and organizations, exploring possibilities for collaborations and synergies.
In particular, the business mission from Germany will include the companies:
Apollo Green Solution UG – Transparent photovoltaics combined with battery systems and charging stations
SUNSET Energietechnik GmbH – CO2-neutral photovoltaic and solar systems
Led Light Germany GmbH – Energy saving and antibacterial LED lighting systems
inVENTer Gmbh – Sustainable ventilation systems for "passive houses" (PassiveHouse)
Steinel GmbH – Advanced lighting systems with integrated management systems
Ecodry – Wall dehumidification, ventilation systems and wall coatings
Soliterm Group GmbH and Protarget AG – Solar systems for thermal energy production for industrial applications
During the visit to Cyprus, a workshop on "Renewable Energies and Energy Modernization of Commercial and Hotel Buildings in Cyprus" will take place on Tuesday 02 July 2024, at Crowne Plaza Limassol.
Also, specialized Cypriot and German speakers will enrich the workshop with presentations on the potential of the German market, as well as the data and prospects of the sector in Cyprus.
The technological proposals are addressed, among others, to medium and large companies, which have room for energy upgrade in order to save energy, as well as to hotel units, Local Government Organizations, Project Developers, food and beverage industries, as well as companies from the field of architecture.
The profiles of the German companies of the mission are posted on the website of the German-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, so that companies and industry bodies interested in relevant meetings can fill in the expression of interest form, which is also available on the website.
