Community leader Anaritas Michalis Nikandrou was elected after a vote held on Wednesday President of the fifth cluster of communities in the Paphos district. Kouklion community leader Christakis Kaiser was elected Deputy President.
In the fifth cluster includes the communities of Nata, Anarita, Agia Varvara, Mantria, Kouklia, Archimandrita and Moussere.
As decided, the offices where the employees of the fifth complex will be housed will be located in the Anaritas community building.
Mr. Nikandrou stated to KYPE that the goal is to properly implement the reform of the Local Self-Government, and to bring about development in the communities of the region. They still have a lot of work to do in order to get the reform off to a good start
He also added that at the beginning of Autumn they will start some training seminars to train the new community leaders, the new members of the community councils as well as the old ones, the existing employees of the community councils and those who will be hired.
