The Registrar General of Elections announces that the electoral booklets of the new voters, registered in the supplementary electoral rolls of April 2, 2024, have been prepared and forwarded to the Community Heads of Communities and Parishes, for receipt by the voters or their relatives.
The voter booklets will be held by the Community Leaders until Thursday, June 6, 2024, and will then be returned to the Offices of the relevant District Officers, from where interested voters can collect them even on election day.
It is reminded that, in order for someone to be able to vote in the upcoming elections, he must be registered in the corresponding electoral roll and, in the case of a Cypriot voter, present at the polling station either his voter booklet or his identity card.
Voters of other Member States of the European Union shall vote for the Local Government Elections by presenting either an electoral booklet or the document on the basis of which they have entered in the relevant special electoral roll and for the Elections to Members of the European Parliament, by presenting the document on the basis of which they have entered in the corresponding special electoral list.
