NUMBER OF VOTERS AND EXECUTIVES PER MUNICIPALITY IN PAPHOS DISTRICT

The number of voters in Pafos Municipality amounts to 24,991, in East Pafos Municipality to 7,517, in Akamas Municipality 4,003 and in Polis Chrysochous Municipality to 5,137. It is reminded that in the Municipality of Pafos, in which communities will not be integrated, 23 municipal councillors and one Deputy Mayor are elected.

East Paphos Geroskipou Municipality will consist of five districts. A total of 11 municipal councillors and five deputy mayors will be elected, including 8 municipal councillors and one deputy mayor from the Municipal District of Geroskipou. In Agia Marinouda no municipal councillor is elected, also in Acheleia no municipal councillor is elected, in Konia two municipal councillors are elected and in Timi one municipal councillor.

The Municipality of East Pafos and the Municipal Districts of Agia Marinouda and Acheleia elect a Deputy Mayor, a Deputy Mayor for the Municipal District of Konia and a Deputy Mayor for the Municipal District of Timi. In the Municipality of Akamas, Pegeia, nine municipal councillors and seven deputy mayors are elected. Specifically, the Municipal District of Pegeia elects five municipal councillors and one Deputy Mayor, while the Municipal Districts of Akoursos, Kato Arodes and Pano Arodes elect one Deputy Mayor.

The Municipal District of Inia, as well as the Municipal District of Kathika, elect one municipal councillor and one Deputy Mayor and the Municipal District of Kissonerga two Municipal Councillors and one Deputy Mayor. In the Municipality of Polis Chrysochous, two municipal councillors and 14 Deputy Mayors are elected. A Municipal Councillor and a Deputy Mayor elect the Municipal Districts of Polis, Chrysochous and Argaka.

Also elected by a Deputy Mayor are the Municipal Districts of Agia Marina, Androlykou, Gialia, Drouseia, Kritou Terras, Makountas, Neo Chorio, Nea Dimata, Pelathousa, Pomos, Monster and Chrysochou. A total of 27 Deputy Mayors and 45 Municipal Councillors will accompany the four Mayors of the Pafos District, who will be elected on June 9, in the context of the Local Government elections.
