A minor, a permanent resident of Cyprus, was reportedly spotted on Sunday night driving his father's vehicle in Paphos. According to the Police, after the minor was identified at the Paphos ADE, his parents were also called for further investigation.
In another case, a 37-year-old permanent resident of Cyprus was stopped yesterday Saturday with his vehicle during a traffic control in the area of Chloraka by members of the Paphos Crime Prevention Unit.
He had a positive result in a drug test, while a small amount of crystal narcotic substance was found in his possession.
The 37-year-old was taken to the offices of ADE Pafos and is expected to be accused in writing upon receiving the results from the State General Chemistry.
In the meantime, members of ADE Paphos carried out a coordinated operation on Sunday evening in Paphos District to prevent road collisions in the context of which 30 complaints were made.
According to the Police, during the operation, 97 vehicles were checked while 30 complaints were made for violations of the road traffic code.

Police in Limassol handed out hundreds of fines over the bank holiday weekend, authorities said on Tuesday.
According to police, from March 29 to April 1, 811 vehicles and 833 people were stopped as part of increased operations.
Another 147 people were given alcotests.
In total, police said, that 20 people were fined for drink driving, while another 134 were fined for other traffic violations. Of those violations 31 were referred to court.
Police said that they seized 10 cars, four motorcycles and three scooters found without licence plates.
The statement added that raids were conducted on two homes and two other buildings, where three stolen motorbikes and a stolen hunting rifle were found.
Six fines were issued for the incident.
Police said that another three people were arrested for illegal drugs possession, while there were also two reported burglaries, and an arson case registered in an open field.
