AIR LINK RESTORED WITH JORDAN, LEBANON - WHAT HAPPENS WITH TEL AVIV

Cyprus' air link with Jordan and Lebanon has been restored following Iran's attack with dozens of drones and missiles against Israel in the early hours of Sunday, April 14.

According to information from Hermes Airports, theair link between Cyprus and Jordan and Lebanon has been restored, following the opening of their airspace, which was temporarily closed on Saturday evening, due to developments in the Middle East.

Flights to Amman and Beirut to and from Larnaca Airport are operating normally.

Moreover, the three Israeli airlines operating flights to Israel, namely El-Al, Arkia and Isr Air, continue their flight schedule between Larnaka and Tel Aviv.

The other airlines operating flights to Tel Aviv have cancelled their flights for today, but daily and depending on developments, they adjust their schedule.

Meanwhile, Cyprus Airways said in a statement that "due to the current situation, all flights scheduled to depart to and from Beirut as of today, Monday, April 15, are suspended."

According to the company, depending on the situation, an announcement is expected to be issued later today, regarding the flight that will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, April 16, to and from Tel Aviv.
