The Municipality of Paphos announces that as part of the Paphitiko Carnival Events, there will be traffic regulations on March 7 and 16, 2024. Specifically, due to the Procession that will start from the World War II Memorial on Thursday, March 7, from 4:00 p.m. m. until 6:00 p.m., traffic on G. Digeni Avenue, G. Auxentiouand on the adjacent roads, will be allowed in sections. The arrangements will be similar on March 16, from 1:30 to 6:00 p.m.
Traffic on L. G. Digeni will be possible before the height of O. Androutsou Street (despite the Second World War Memorial), while Grigori Auxentiou will be closed (height of the entrance of the former Police Directorate).
It is also pointed out that citizens will be able to use as Parking Spaces the Former Police Headquarters, the 7th Primary School Field, the Lyceum 1 Field ("G.S. Korivos"), the "Karavella" Parking Space and the Parking Space the Pontic Hellenic Genocide Memorial.
To avoid inconvenience, drivers are asked to avoid approaching the roads in question and use other directions to their destination.
