LUCINDA BRAND, WORLD CYCLING CHAMPION IN PAPHOS FOR PREPARATION Lucinda Brand, UCI World Champion for several years, with high performances in most important competitions in the world is currently in Paphos for preparation. The Dutch athlete is in Paphos for about ten days for preparation in view series of matches in which he will participate.
As Lucinda mentioned in our recent meeting “I am very happy to be here in Paphos and I emphasize the fact that Paphos has all the necessary ingredients to rises even higher in the preferences of athletes and also on the world map destinations for preparing cycling athletes. At the same time, as he pointed out, "the excellent weather conditions, the mild winter, the good accessibility by air, the infrastructure and the beautiful routes are among the big pluses to differentiate Paphos from other competitors.”
Ms. Brand will remain in Paphos until Sunday, March 17, 2024 and until the day of her departure is expected to follow a training program including routes of the Paphos UCI Gran Fondo 2024 race to be held in Paphos on 29-31 March 2024.
