Pafos Live 9 March 2024
A vehicle belonging to a former police officer burst into flames last night. The vehicle worth 12 thousand euros that was parked outside the residence of the former officer of the Pafos police department in Geroskipou was almost completely destroyed by a fire that was maliciously set a few minutes before ten last night.
The fire was extinguished by the fire brigade and police are collecting evidence to identify the perpetrators.
The new malicious act, arson of a former police officer's vehicle, is of great concern to the authorities.
Although he has retired in recent months, the authorities do not exclude the possibility that this malicious action is related to cases handled by the former data officer and similar attacks that had preceded on another active officer of the force serving at the Pafos police headquarters, as well as malicious actions against three justice officers who also serve in the Pafos Legal Service.
