The war for control of the night in free Famagusta is referred to by the explosion of a bomb at dawn in a well-known summer club in the Pernera area of Protaras.

The bombing has alerted police, who believe the attackers wanted to send specific messages. It is noted that until recently the management of the well-known club belonged to persons from Nicosia.

Investigations are focused in a specific direction and CCTV testimonies are being sought in an effort to trace the movements of the perpetrators. The bomb explosion occurred shortly before 2 a.m.

This caused extensive damage to the premises that were closed. The scene was cordoned off by the Police and members of the Criminal Investigation Service of the Police Headquarters rushed to the scene, who are conducting investigations.                                                                                                                                                                                   The investigators of the Famagusta ICF case are also seeking testimonies from residents.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               * * * * * *

The two suspected Russians who are allegedly involved in a money laundering case are being brought back before the Limassol District Court.

The detention order of the two expires today, but due to the fact that the necessary examinations and investigations have not been completed by the investigators of the Financial Crime Investigation Office of the ICF of Limassol, the suspects will be taken to court for a request to renew their detention.

The allegations of the two Russians, aged 41 and 34 respectively, have been put under the microscope of investigators. On the one hand, the 41-year-old co-owner of the gallery in Limassol insists that it is legal money and income from his businesses, while the 34-year-old employee and friend reportedly changed his stance and denied what he said during his first testimony.

Investigators at the ICF Limassol are looking for the source of the €860.0000 found in the possession of the two suspects who allegedly shared the money via van with other persons. As "F" wrote, the main concern of investigators is to identify the source of the cash to determine whether this money was obtained from illegal activities.

It should be noted that the 41-year-old suspect and co-owner of the gallery in Limassol has been in custody since last Friday, guarded in a private hospital in the city, as he appears to be facing various health problems.
