A new major TV production filmed exclusively in Cyprus will be screened in the UK.
"Love Rat," a four-episode drama series, will be broadcast on Britain's Channel 5, owned by Paramount Global.
This production has been approved by the Cyprus Film Commission and promotes the tourist characteristics of our country, especially Ayia Napa and Protaras. During the production, 48 Cypriot professionals were employed.
As highlighted by the production of this TV series in Cyprus, our country is evolving into a center of remarkable international television and film productions, a development that was among our goals to attract foreign film productions.
Love Rat was commissioned for Channel 5 by Sebastian Cardwell, Deputy Chief Content Officer, UK at Paramount and produced by Clapperboard Studios UK. Executive producers are Clapperboard MD Mike Benson and Andy Morgan, with Jonathan Phillips as producer and Polly Buckle (A Discovery of Witches) as head writer.
The series stars Sally Lindsay, Neil Morrissey, Gerald Kyd and Ramon Tikaram.
