Weak low pressure affects the area.

Today, increased clouds will be observed intermittently, which are expected to give isolated rain or even an isolated thunderstorm, initially mainly in the western half and in the mountains and later also in areas in the southeast. In the higher mountains, snow or sleet may fall. The winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, mild to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and transient locally on the southwest coast to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will initially be calm to a little turbulent and in the west a little turbulent, but later it will become in the north and in the south a little turbulent and in the west a little turbulent to turbulent. The temperature will rise around 16 degrees in the interior, around 17 degrees on the coast and around 5 degrees in the higher mountains, where locally on the highest leeward peaks of Troodos there will be frost.
