The Central Bank of Cyprus ("CBC") informs the public, businesses and, in particular, depositors that the entity named "Neo Business Bank", to which reference is made, on the following website: https://www.neobusinessbank.com/ does not hold a credit institution licence from the CBC in accordance with Article 4 of the Business of Credit Institutions Laws of 1997 to 2023; or an electronic money institution pursuant to article 5(2) of the Electronic Money Institutions Laws of 2012 and 2018.
The CBC encourages the public, businesses and depositors, as before cooperating with credit institutions, to consult its website and in particular the Register of Credit Institutions operating in Cyprus in order to ascertain as to credit institutions legally operating in the Republic of Cyprus, as well as the Registers of Electronic Money Institutions authorised by the CBC and Electronic Money Institutions from Member States which have notified their intention to provide services in the Republic of Cyprus.
