A new arrival of migrants was recorded by sea in Cyprus, as at 5:00 in the morning on Saturday irregular migrants were spotted wandering on a beach in Ayia Napa.
According to CNA, these are 25 irregular migrants – 24 men and one minor – who arrived in Cyprus on a six-metre-long boat.
The same information states that the reason why this arrival was not detected by radar is the small size of the boat and the waves that existed in the sea area of Ayia Napa.
After registering their details and following the appropriate procedures, irregular migrants will be transferred to the Pournara Temporary Accommodation Centre for Migrants in Kokkinotrimithia.
