A major operation has been underway since 5 am on Wednesday off Cape Greco by the Search and Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC), after a boat with 60 migrants spotted, some of whom were unconscious.
5 people came out of the boat, including 3 children, who were transported by helicopter to a hospital.
The boat with the rest of the migrants, who are in very bad condition, is transferred to Ayia Napa Marina.
Ambulances are at the scene, whose crew will provide first aid to the migrants and take them to hospital for medical treatment.
