Roads in Larnaca will be closed on Saturday 20 January and Sunday 21 January on the occasion of the "Cyprus Grand Road Prix Races" for the second year in the city.
In an announcement by Larnaka Municipality, it is stated that "for the needs of this race, Athens Avenue will remain closed on Saturday 20 January from 10 am until two o'clock on Sunday the 21st of the month, at its junction with Archbishop Makarios III Avenue".
Also, "from 8 a.m. until 12 noon on Sunday, January 21, Piale Pasia Street and Tassos Mitsopoulos Avenue will be closed. Also, one direction of Artemis Avenue from the traffic lights of Tassos Mitsopoulos Avenue to the airport and there will be traffic regulation with the help of the Police and one stream of Artemis will be configured into a two-way for wheeled vehicles".
As mentioned, during these temporary measures, appropriate traffic signs, prohibitive and directional detour signs will be placed in accordance with the Road Traffic Code. At the same time, all necessary measures will be taken for the unhindered movement of emergency vehicles.
The public is invited to comply with the instructions of the Police and Traffic Police of Larnaka Municipality.
