A 43-year-old man is wanted by the Police in Paphos to facilitate investigations into an investigated case of burglary of a beauty salon and theft from it.
According to Paphos Assistant Police Director of Operations, Michalis Nicolaou, on January 12, a 39-year-old owner of a beauty salon located in Paphos reported that between January 11 and 12, her institute was burglarized and property of a total value of about €4,260 was stolen.
Examinations carried out by the police secured testimony against a 43-year-old man who is wanted. Police examinations to locate him are ongoing.

The Pafos District Court issued a two-day detention order against a 70-year-old man on Saturday to facilitate investigations into an ongoing case of thefts at two fruit shops in Geroskipou and illegal possession of property.
According to Assistant Police Director of Operations, Michalis Nikolaou, a 36-year-old fruit shop owner in Geroskipou reported yesterday to the police that five bottles of alcoholic beverages with a total value of €180 were stolen from his shop on the same day.
The complainant suspected a specific customer whom he followed in his car, stopped him and realized that inside his vehicle were the five stolen bottles from his shop.
The owner of the fruit shop then alerted the police, and a police car went to the scene. It was found that the driver was 70 years old from Limassol.
Subsequently, the five stolen bottles were received and a number of other alcoholic beverages were further located for which he did not give satisfactory explanations. He was also arrested for the offence of illegal possession of property.
It then emerged that four more bottles of alcoholic beverages had been stolen on the same day from another fruit shop, again in Geroskipou, owned by a 35-year-old man, with a total value of €160.
As it transpired in the second fruit shop incident, the 70-year-old was allegedly involved in the theft. Further, Mr. Nicolaou said, a number of other alcoholic beverages were found in the possession of the 70-year-old, for which he did not give satisfactory explanations.
He was arrested and placed in two-day detention for unlawful possession of property in addition to the offence of theft.

A new case of cubitia is being investigated by the Police, after a check carried out around midnight today, at a café in Paphos. The inspection was carried out by members of the Pafos OPE, in the context of the actions of the Police, to combat the government.
When the police entered the café, six people, including the manager of the café, were spotted indulging in cubicles.
All the above were charged in writing, to be summoned before a Court, while the examinations continue from the Polis Chrysochous Police Station.
