The Department of Forests of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, in cooperation with the Municipality of Pegeia, announces that as of today, Friday, January 5, the road to Akamas next to the "White River" until the junction of the road from "Ossia Matrona" will be temporarily closed to all vehicles for safety reasons.

The Department of Forests apologizes for any inconvenience to the public and will come back with a new announcement when the road is safe for visitors.
