NEW €1,000,000 PROGRAM TO ENHANCE CYBERSECURITY IN BUSINESSES

The Digital Security Authority (DSA) and the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) jointly announced a new funding program "Enhancing Cybersecurity in Cypriot Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) 2023", amounting to €1,000,000.

Specifically, the Digital Security Authority (DSA), as the National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre (NCC-CY) in the Republic of Cyprus, and the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF), announced the announcement of the new funding program "Enhancing Cybersecurity in Cypriot Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) 2023", amounting to €1,000,000.

The program aims to enhance the level of security and ensure optimal protection of the infrastructure, systems and information of Cypriot SMEs, and consequently to strengthen their resilience.

In addition, the Program aims to certify SMEs for their compliance with European and international measures and criteria, as defined through the Cyber-Hygiene Framework for SMEs of the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center (NCC-CY).

The minimum funding per project is €20,000 and the maximum is €60,000.

The Programme is co-funded by the Republic of Cyprus and the Digital Europe Programme of the European Union.
