The civil marriage industry in Paphos, Pegeia and Geroskipou worked at full pace this year, confirming based on official data that this sector has definitively returned today to the record levels of 2019.
Based on the ceremonies held so far in the three municipal authorities, it is considered certain that the funds were filled with significant amounts of money in 2023 from this activity. This activity in the post-pandemic era is even more evident this year than it was in 2022, they stress with certainty now in the three municipal palaces.
As expected by those responsible for this sector, the apparent improvement recorded already last year, maintained a visible upward trend in 2023 in the specific Municipalities of the province.
The officials express their satisfaction for the launch of the whole activity, pointing out in particular the importance of restoring normality in the sector since it is one of the main financial revenues of municipal authorities.
Paphos, Peyia and Geroskipou are traditionally considered among the most popular destinations internationally for civil weddings, due to the great natural landscapes they offer.
