Christmas Village will operate for the first time in the square of the Mouttalou District, in Paphos.
According to an announcement by the Municipality of Paphos, this is the result of the initiative of businessmen and other citizens who operate or live in the refugee district of Paphos and which is supported by the Municipality.
It is reported that in the Christmas Village, which will operate from December 20 to 31, there will be small houses - kiosks with food, traditional Christmas sweets and products, hot drinks and a place to take photos with Santa Claus.
Several activities, suitable for young and old, will be organized in the area, it is added. There will also be a charity bazaar by social welfare organizations with the aim of raising funds to support our fellow human beings in need.
The opening of the Christmas Village will take place on Wednesday 20 December at 5pm and the event will include a festive artistic programme.. The Mayor of Paphos Phaidonas Phaidonos will address the event.
