Wizz Air has set a new summer record for carrying 33 million passengers between April and September, with passenger numbers up more than 24% on the previous summer.
In Cyprus, Wizz Air achieved a 70% year-on-year increase in passenger numbers in the summer, while it reached a flight completion rate of 99.76% in the August-September period.
The most popular destinations for Cypriots this summer included destinations in Greece, Italy, France, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.
Wizz Air has also announced summer routes for 2024, which include flights from Larnaca to Yerevan, Athens, Thessaloniki, Varna, Rome, Abu Dhabi, Paris, Prague, Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh.
