New violent incidents broke out tonight at the migrant children's camp in Kato Paphos. Two different groups of Africans and Syrians clashed with each other, causing huge damage to the tourist accommodation rented by the Republic of Cyprus for its conversion into a shelter for unaccompanied minor foreigners.
Most come from African countries. This is not the first time that violent incidents have been recorded at the facility. A strong police force rushed to the area again to impose order.
Neighbours are desperate since incidents, fights and shouting are an almost daily occurrence and demand that the competent services take care of the removal of the structure from the sensitive tourist area of the Tombs of the Kings.
