PAPHOS - TWO NEW PARKS TO BE CREATED

 


With two new parks on the streets of Georgios Christoforos and Alexandroupolis, the Municipality of Paphos enriches the city's outdoor recreation infrastructure at a cost of € 542,000
With two new parks, the Municipality of Paphos strengthens its infrastructure and services to citizens in the sensitive sector of recreation with a significant impact on improving the quality of life.
The two new parks with a total cost of € 542,000 will be built, one on Georgios Christoforou Street in the Kato Pervolion area, and the other in a green space on Alexandroupoleos Street.
With the Park on Georgios Christoforou Street, the Municipality tries to revitalize an area that is located in the center but needs stimulation in relation to the recreation of children and people of different ages. The park will be erected on the site of the old marble processing workshop.
The park on Alexandroupolis Street will be turned into a green space.
The two parks include landscaping work, tree planting, toy placement, urban furnishing and urban lighting.
The contract for the construction of the two parks in question was signed today November 10, 2023 at the Paphos Municipal Hall the contract between the Municipality of Paphos as the contracting authority and the joint venture Agagrand Construction Ltd and P. Demou and D. Pareklisitis Developers Ltd.
The contract was signed on behalf of the Municipality of Paphos by the Mayor Mr. K. Faidonas Faidonos and on behalf of the cooperative, Mr. Abdullahim Alhaprat.
The duration of execution of the subject of the contract is six (6) months from the start of the project.
The amount of the contract amounts to € 542,000 including tax. P. A
