Online fraud against unsuspecting citizens was allegedly set up against the backdrop of the two murders of Thanasis Kalogeropoulos and Alexis Mavromichalis, targeting those who want to be informed about the ongoing developments around the investigations of the two cases.

According to a post by Dinos Pastos, an expert on internet security, in recent hours messages have been sent to citizens to click on an article to see the alleged executioners, but it is a scam.

Pastos also warns that the dangerous message targets Cypriots and aims to intercept Viber history and conversations

The text of the message reads:

"Hello everyone, I have very important information about what is happening in my yard. My surveillance cameras captured people with masks and machine guns. If you don't mind, check out the article, maybe someone will recognize someone close to them from these people."
