The Municipality of Pafos announces that as of next Wednesday at 12.00, the following traffic regulation systems will be put into operation on the improved Ellados and Evagoras Pallikarides Avenues:
A light-controlled Pelican pedestrian crossing in the section of Ellados Avenue that extends from its junction with Amathountos Street to its junction with the new roundabout of Ellados.
Traffic lights at the junction of Ellados Avenue with Onoufriou Clerides Street, by the Technical Services of the Pafos Municipality.
The installation of these photo-controlled systems took place in the context of the ongoing project to improve the two aforementioned avenues, the Municipality emphasizes in its announcement. For the implementation of these measures, appropriate road markings and signalling were carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Code.
The Municipality of Pafos calls on drivers to strictly observe the road signs and signs, for the safety of themselves and other road users.
