Weak high pressure prevails in the area, however, low pressure and unstable weather conditions begin to temporarily affect the island and especially the west, from tonight. Dilute dust will be suspended in the atmosphere, which gradually recedes from tomorrow.
Initially today, the weather will be mostly clear. Gradually, however, increased clouds will be observed from time to time, mainly medium and high clouds. In the late afternoon, in the western half of the island the weather will become partly cloudy and gradually by evening, mostly cloudy. The winds will initially blow mainly southeast to southwest, weak, 3 Beaufort, to gradually turn to mainly southwest to northwest, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm until a little turbulent, while by late afternoon, in the west and north it will become locally a little turbulent. The temperature will rise around 29 degrees in the interior, around 27 degrees on the coast and around 20 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, in the western half of the island, the weather will be mostly cloudy, with localised showers and isolated thunderstorms expected. Gradually in the rest of the island, locally increased clouds will be observed, which are likely to give isolated rain. The winds will blow mainly from southwest to northwest directions, in the interior weak, 3 Beaufort and on the coast to moderate, 4 Beaufort. In a thunderstorm, however, winds can vary and strengthen. The sea in the west, north and south will gradually become a little turbulent, while in the east it will be calm to a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to around 15 degrees in the interior, around 17 degrees on the coast and around 9 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Tuesday, the weather will be partly cloudy and at times mostly cloudy, with localised showers and isolated thunderstorms expected.
On Wednesday, the weather will be mostly clear, with locally increased clouds at times. On Thursday, locally increased clouds will be observed, which are expected to give isolated showers.
The temperature on Tuesday will fall, but will continue to fluctuate above average values. On Wednesday, however, the temperature will rise slightly and on Thursday an unmarked change.
